What tools do you use?
The tools we use are:

• The Predictive Index (PI). PI is a management tool that measures the work-related behaviors and motivating needs of people in your organization. The average person takes 10 minutes to complete it.
• The PRO is a form that gives you insight into what specific behaviors and aptitudes are necessary to do the job. This three-page form gives an objective job analysis that can be compared to the PI for a reliable job match.

Are these tools reliable?
Yes. PI Worldwide has been in business for over 50 years, and the tools have undergone rigorous validity and reliability testing. We have over 250 criterion-related validity studies that show that the PI is statistically related to job behaviors for a variety of jobs in a variety of industries. We have several studies which investigated the pattern of relationships between PI factors and scores on other measures, and which successfully demonstrated its consistency and construct validity. Finally, we have over 3500 very satisfied clients, some of whom have been clients for almost 40 years. They can attest to the validity of the PI and the PRO.

In what format do I get my information?
Your consultant calls you with the information. We have found this method to be most effective because it gives you a chance to ask questions and tailor the information to your specific business situation.

How does it work?
Your PI for Small Business consultant will talk with you to understand your specific business, and in which areas you would like our help. The consultant then uses the PI and the PRO (described below) to gain further information about the position and the people involved. After processing the results of these forms, the consultant brings his or her extensive experience working with businesses on similar issues to your telephone. S/He calls you, shares the analysis with you, and answers any questions you have. It's completely customized to you and your business.

How much does it cost?
The price structure is as follows:

• $600 start up fee. Here, we work with you to understand your company: your business challenges, your teams, your customers, and your corporate culture. We add value by analyzing a very specific person (the candidate) in the context of a very specific business (yours). We compare the knowledge we gain in this phase with what we know about similar businesses in similar industries. Thus, you get a highly specialized analysis in the specific context of your business.
• $150 for a Job Analysis. Here we go in-depth to analyze the job, using the PRO and our consulting skills, to really understand the job. Armed with this full understanding of the job, we can now help you hire people who will do that job well.
• $150 for the PI of the first job candidate. After the candidate takes the PI, we will score it and discuss with you how that person will perform the job. We compare this person to what is required by the job, highlighting fits and gaps, so you can make an informed decision. If you've done a PI on the manager, we can discuss similarities and differences in their working styles as well. Since this is a live conversation, you have the opportunity to ask questions.
• $100 for the PI of all subsequent candidates for that job. Same services as above, just less money!
